Developer, agency owner, operator. Twenty years writing the code.
I build products, run a creative agency, lead a development team and run venues. Hospitality is my focus, not my limit.
I'm a web developer first. I've written PHP, MySQL and JavaScript for twenty years, run Focus & Co since 2013, and head up the team of designers and developers behind it.
I'm also the managing partner of The 85 Group Hospitality: Baluga Bar & Club, Hopwoods Taphouse, Tipsy Chef, Le Fleur, Nashville Country Bar, The Winter Lodge and Baluga at The Imperial. Seven venues, over £6m turnover, and hundreds of managed staff members.
The group trades on Control Suite, which I founded and built: EPOS, bookings, loyalty, stock, rotas and payroll.
I'm also the founder of Prooflive.ai, a website platform for UK businesses: sites made in a conversation from the owner's design, then hosted with email, enquiries and search set up. This site runs on it.
Before that, I took my retail business from under £1m to £9m and a PLC exit. Since 2013, hosting for 600+ clients. Before that, chief build engineer on CCTV, security and festival control rooms.
Founder of Control Suite: all-in-one hospitality software for EPOS, bookings, stock, rotas and loyalty. If it will work for you, I will say so, but if it won't then there's almost certainly a solution that will fit.
Founder of Prooflive.ai: the AI website builder made for designers and businesses. This site runs on it!
Preston, Manchester, London, or a call.
For anything hospitality, expect me to want a Friday or Saturday on site early on.
